Founded in Shanghai in 2002, DerbySoft is a leading technology company serving the hospitality distribution industries in China. The mission of the company is to create a hotel global distribution network (GDN) based on the Internet. DerbySoft has a growing team of more than 200 people in offices located in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Chengdu and the U.S. The company joined the Open Travel Alliance (OTA) in 2002 and remains its only member from China, and since 2006 it has been supported by several top international venture capital firms.
Our products and services
DerbySoft is dedicated to creating the GDN, the next generation of online hotel distribution infrastructure. It has developed and now operates its core technology, DSwitch, a conduit through which flows the real-time exchange of hotel data and reservations. In contrast to the two traditional hotel switches, DSwitch is flexible and adaptable, has increased functionality and is cost effective for its hotel clients. It was designed to integrate easily with all of the systems used by hotel room buyers and sellers. These include the CRSs of chain hotels; the DerbySoft-developed software modules used by independent hotels (DHotelier) and small chain hotels (DCRS), travel agencies (DAgency), and public or private destination management organizations (DMS); and the XML-based systems of online travel agencies and other distribution channels.
