Job Title: Customer Portal and Operational Tools Product Owner/Manager

Job Summary (Primary Purpose)

  • Work directly with internal and external clients and client managers to understand their needs and collaborate with development team
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders internally

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop the vision for your product and collaborate with key stakeholders
  • Perform market research to discover potential opportunities by analyzing user behaviors and demands. Design Customer Portal which can generate revenue in the future
  • Define and groom product backlog; create operational tools and customer portal SOW and confirm it with related internal and external customers; refine and revise priorities as necessary
  • Provide direction and set up clear expectations for the development team ensuring product delivery within given timelines and budget
  • Take responsibility for the Portal UI and UX. Create business and data flow of tools and Customer Portal. Closely work with product support team to design and final approve UI and UX of tools and Customer Portal
  • Responsible for project promotion, including the internal discussion with colleagues and the cooperation from third-party contracts and partners. Gain the support from inside and outside the company to achieve the business goal
  • Work directly with clients to understand their needs, and collaborate with your multi-functional teams to develop the best possible solutions
  • Develop and lead go to market strategies, including: creating product strategy, competitive analysis and product marketing materials, such as data sheets, flash presentations, media topics and exhibition presentations
  • Take responsibility for the Tools and Portal product support; generate all product documentation, including user training and product support

Experience and Skills

  • 5+ years of software product development and product management
  • Experience in Agile Software Development Methodology
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties
  • Smart, a quick learner and a creative problem solver.
  • A self-starter with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
  • Excited about startup culture
  • Vision to connect product features to business results
  • Bachelor degree in science and technology or related field

Performance Standards

  • Understand Web service technology
  • Experience with Agile software development a plus
