Digital Marketing Manager – Minneapolis, Minnesota

  1. Lead the Planning and Delivery of the strategy that will help clients achieve their business objectives
  2. Build strong Partnerships with the marketing teams at top hotel brands as well as account management teams at media partners
  3. Leverage our advertising platform and its advanced models to drive bookings and revenue at maximum ROI through efficient campaigns
  4. Consult, train and coach client staff to fully leverage Click and Metasearch Channels, all constantly evolving products
  5. Prepare campaign performance insights and recommendations to lead business reviews (QBRs) with customers, as well as top channels
  6. Manage budgeting and forecasting activities
  7. Prepare and present ad hoc analysis to inform campaign management
  8. Spot digital and travel trends to provide actionable insights to our clients and feed into DerbySoft’s own PR efforts
  9. Be the hotel performance marketing thought leader in your region
  10. Identify and advocate for platform continuous improvement that drive client and DerbySoft’s success. You are the customer champion internally

Minimum qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of professional experience in digital marketing
  • 1-3 years of professional experience working with clients
  • Experience managing large scale PPC campaign (SEM, Display or Social)
  • Data driven,with strong analytical skills, you are able to design appropriate tests/analysis to identify business opportunities
  • Excellent communication (oral, written) and presentation skills
  • Experience with website analytics tools (Google Analytics for instance)
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint or Google Presentation

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in the travel and hospitality sector
  • Experience in startup or high growth businesses
  • Understanding of hotel revenue management
  • Google Analytics and Adwords Certifications
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams, coordinating various actors towards one common goal
  • Proficiency in Google GSuite (Gmail, Drive)
  • Experience identifying business needs to design new products and services
