DerbySoft Connects Club Med and Meituan Travel

Meituan Travel and Club Med have successfully established a travel technology partnership to officially launch the hotel brand’s product on Meituan, including real-time room availability, rates and inventory (ARI). The flagship hotel of Club Med launched on the Meituan Travel app recently and customers can now search the hotel’s room rate and availability from any Club Med resort. DerbySoft acted as a third-party connection to establish the Meituan-Club Med partnership.

Founded in France in 1950, Club Med has more than 70 resorts across 30 countries around the globe. Compared with traditional hotels and resorts, Club Med has a complex package of products and services like entertainment, dining, recreational activities and services. With this range of packages, DerbySoft created a custom connection between Club Med’s and Meituan’s platforms. As the market leader in hotel API and content connectivity, DerbySoft solved a host of unique technical difficulties during this connection. DerbySoft helped Club Med build a multiple rate plan for all of their resorts around the world, and right now, any customer can book any hotel room with different restrictions (such as number of people stay, kids age range) for Club Med via the Metituan Travel app.

This is the first time Club Med has been able to sell its resort rooms without having to include the packaged products and services on Meituan’s platform due to DerbySoft’s expertise.
