Dear Friends,
As we go through this unprecedented crisis together, I want to give you an update on how DerbySoft is managing our business through the COVID-19 pandemic.
We remain committed to supporting you and your business throughout this crisis. At the beginning of the outbreak, we quickly pivoted to focus all of our efforts on supporting existing customers and maintaining our platforms. Many of our employees were already working from home, so we were set up for secure access with the latest tools for remote workers. We have taken difficult decisions to reduce non-essential costs in order to provide you uninterrupted service until things begin to recover. We know how difficult this is for all our customers, and our singular mission during this time is to support you. We also encourage you to think about what you will need after the crisis. We intend to be ready to move forward with you when that day comes.
Here in Shanghai, things are slowly returning to normal. Life is coming back to the streets, and our offices are once again filled with employees who had been working from home. We are not nearly through the crisis, but we are beginning to see a slight rebound in search and bookings for the China market, which we hope bodes well for the rest of the world in the coming months. Our employees in our Dallas, Barcelona and Tokyo offices will be looking for similar signs of recovery in their markets.
As we go through this crisis together, we are proud to be a reliable partner for you through troubled times and to continue as the travel industry recovers. With hard work, shared sacrifice and smart crisis management, we plan to come out of this downturn stronger and more resilient, together with you.
And, finally, I wish you and your family good health through this difficult period. Beyond business, this is a time for us to focus on the big things – our health, our families and all the important people in our lives.
