More than Just Vacation Rental Platforms

Airbnb and Vrbo have grown dramatically in size and influence over the last several years, and hotels without a strategy to sell inventory on these platforms are losing revenue and growth opportunities.

Once seen as a site for budget-conscious millennials, Airbnb is now the second-largest OTA on the market, with more than 150 million worldwide users and 7 million listings in 220 countries and regions.

On Vrbo, a division of Expedia Group, travelers stay on average 1.2x longer and book 2.1x earlier on Vrbo compared to other competitors, with an average trip length of 6 days.
