Spring Airlines Joins DerbySoft’s Global Data Network for Flights
Dallas, Texas, Apr 15, 2026 — DerbySoft, an innovative global technology company dedicated to accelerating travel commerce, today announced that Spring Airlines, China’s largest and best performing low-cost carriers (LCC) in China, has joined DerbySoft’s Global Data Network (GDN) for Flights—a next-generation flight distribution model that transforms the traditional hub-and-spoke model into a true network of direct connections among all participants.
Following the AirAsia Group, the addition of Spring Airlines represents a key step for the growth of DerbySoft’s GDN for Flights. As China’s most successful low-cost carrier with a strong network connecting China with major Asian markets, Spring Airlines brings highly valuable LCC content to the network, enhancing access to one of the world’s most dynamic outbound and inbound travel markets.
Driven by the growing demand of Chinese outbound and inbound tourists, Spring Airlines has been accelerating its Asian market growth and seeking broader and more efficient international distribution reach. This partnership will support the airline’s indirect distribution strategy by enabling a single connection to DerbySoft’s GDN for Flights, allowing Spring Airlines to connect to their partner sellers while maintaining direct commercial terms with each of them.

DerbySoft is currently in partnership discussions with several additional airlines across the Asia-Pacific region, with further announcements expected in the coming months. The company is also engaging with travel sellers and OTAs to participate in its GDN for Flights.
About Spring Airlines
Spring Airlines is one of the first privately owned airlines in China, with its inaugural flight on July 18, 2005. As of 2025, the company operates a fleet of 134 aircraft and serves more than 260 routes.
Spring Airlines is the only airline in China’s civil aviation industry to have consistently received the top “A” rating in the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC)’s “Four Rates” evaluation—covering safety, on-time performance, service, and operational execution—and has also been awarded the CAAC Four-Star Award of Safe Flight Operations. Newly launched routes include 12 international services to destinations such as Hanoi and Kuala Lumpur. In the first quarter of 2026, the company continued to advance its international expansion, launching and resuming six international and regional routes, including services from Shanghai Pudong to Ulaanbaatar, Penang, Sabah, and Kaohsiung.
