May 11, 2020– TripAdvisor is providing hoteliers with a new way to communicate COVID-19 messaging to their potential guests so the properties are able to share their response to COVID-19 through their TripAdvisor’s listing.
When this function is enabled, the message will appear on top of the hotel listing conveying that the hotel is creating ‘Safety Precautions Against COVID-19.’
A click on this section will lead the guests to a detailed message from the hotel with direct contact information such as a phone number and an email address.
You can add this message via the management center of your TripAdvisor’s listing. At the moment, the message can be added in two languages, and there is no domain-wise (language) set up for this announcement.
By using this feature, you can help ease travelers’ concerns by sharing specific actions you are taking at your property, such as:
- – Frequently Cleaning Rooms and Common Areas
- – The Availability of Cleaning Products for Guests (Hand Sanitizer, Disinfectant Wipes, etc)
